Karma
Karma is the Sanskrit word for intentional action or 'to create' and at a basic
level one could say that our karma is our word, our deeds, our creations - what
we ARE! Yet in the context of Cosmic Energy Healing philosophy it must be
acknowledged that the use of the term karma is directly related to a special
color or emphasis. Karma is action seen as having consequences of a desirable or
undesirable nature for the person who performed the action. Thus it follows that
if I do a good or evil act then a reactive event will take place appropriate to
the original action. Furthermore, this reaction may not be experienced
immediately, or the next day, next week, next year, but might be in future
lifetimes!
It could be argued that if one lives a disciplined and moral life, no karmic
harm will arise, whereas the wife-beating alcoholic will suffer endless karmic
justice. But from the point of view of Cosmic Energy Healing, I see a bigger
picture where the patient can be cured of the existing ailment and enjoy a
corresponding karmic outcome. So throughout the healing process, I emphasize not
only the importance of how I deal with the physical problem, but also how the
removal of the problem will result in a specific karmic benefit in the future.
You sometimes hear people say, 'he carries his karma around his neck like a
string of fake pearls!' To a certain extent this is true and this person has a
home. Within the home I see the effects of karma - whether good or bad - and
that is why it is sometimes necessary for me to use my Cosmic channels to
cleanse the home. This is a more advanced technique and would only be divulged
verbally to the patient.
